Why are you an Associate of Talking Heads?
Having started my professional life as a teacher, it is a privilege to be able to offer supervision to senior leaders in education. In such pressurised roles there is little time to reflect and often a real sense of ‘judging’ and being ‘judged’ can dent professional self-esteem. Having benefited for decades from supervision myself, I am delighted that teachers are increasingly offered this opportunity. Talking Heads is at the forefront of this development, which has the potential to transform working practice and relationships, partly through placing professional well-being at the heart of the conversation which in turn impacts on the well-being of children and young people.
