My background is in teaching and school leadership. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about fostering creative and flexible approaches, so that every child can thrive as a valued member of their school community. I focus on building positive relationships, and strengthening leadership capacity at all levels. More recently, I have completed professional training in coaching, and in supervision. I believe that regular supervision is a key element in successful leadership, providing a safe space to reflect on one’s professional practice and explore the challenges faced daily.

I wish this had been available when I was a Head!  Schools are places of learning; supervision provides ongoing essential learning and self-development for leaders. It provides a space for honest reflection and enquiry, helping to find clarity in the complexity of school life. The supervisory relationship also provides an opportunity to connect with compassion, and a shared understanding of the immense challenges that leaders face, in enabling every child in their school to flourish.
