Having supervised teachers, teaching assistants and head teachers for over 15 years,
I have a good understanding of the challenges involved in all of these roles.
Feedback from staff has led me to focus on compassion, understanding and
exploration, approaching situations from different perspectives. I am passionate
about giving people a sense of empowerment in their roles, working creatively to
process whatever issues arise, whether it be in the workplace or in relation to
personal well-being. I work in school and in private practice, enjoying a mix of face-
to-face and online work to provide a safe and confidential service in a non-
judgemental and comfortable setting. I believe supervision is essential for all roles
in school, giving a space for people to reframe events and dynamics that can, at
times, feel overwhelming and difficult to overcome in the fast-paced environment of
school.
