I view supervision in the context of a respectful and collaborative working alliance in which supervision can help navigate, through compassionate inquiry, feedback and guidance, ways to expand professional curiosity, effectiveness and enjoyment. Through my supervision training, experience and personal supervision, I know how important it is to have a supportive and safe place to explore and develop further understanding of our professional roles, relationships, and the impact our work can have on us. The value in having a confidential space, where we can be open and honest, a place where we can bring our authentic selves, to share thoughts, feelings and emotions, to explore possibilities, new ways of thinking and improve our own wellbeing.
